After the CIA attempted to recruit Christopher in 11th grade, he had an inkling he was going to be telling stories -- as convincingly as possible -- from that moment onward. He studied in Germany and France, and this furthered his affinity for sprawling tales about different cultures, geopolitics, and life on the edge. After analyzing emerging markets at an investment firm (good cover if the CIA came calling again), Christopher pivoted to writing, directing, and creating stories about troubled men and women battling to find the good in themselves set against SuperTechnirama*-sized backdrops.
Christopher wrote on Star Trek: Picard’s second and Saturn Award-winning and Writers Guild of America-nominated third season (his episode, “Imposters” is considered one of the best episodes ever), CBS’s The Equalizer, and Netflix’s upcoming Magic: The Gathering animated series (based on the popular card game). He’s sold feature films and an TV series to 20th Century Fox. He’s developed feature films with Janet Yang (Joy Luck Club, People v Larry Flynt), Mace Neufeld (Hunt for Red October, Amazon TV’s Jack Ryan), and Oscar-winner Wendy Finerman (Forrest Gump, The Devil Wears Prada).
